District 9.. I liked it but I found it lacking. There was a real missed opportunity there for a wonderful documentary style investigation into the Alien slums. It broke from that into a loud, overlong Robot - whiz bang "BOOM" fest.
I got the feeling Jackson wanted to nudge the world and give them a glimpse of what Halo could have been.
Still a good film and a most enjoyable evening out with pin-up-grrrl.

I'm having trouble with this strip. I can't look at it directly, I have to glance at it from the corner of my eye. It wants something more from me, so much more. I can almost hear it crying out.
I kinda like it on the iPhone though.

Sorry folks, I managed to trap a nerve in my neck when I was in the US... The constant workload since then has just exacerbated the problem and it became inflamed to a point that painkillers were no longer doing the job - and I was taking a lot. Literally using the use of an arm is not exactly ideal when trying to code or draw and the pain became intense.
So, I've been getting some treatment but the downside is leaving the graphics tablet and keyboard alone - in fact, not going near a desk.
If I stick to this, and the treatment - one more session to go, I should be up and running again by the end of the week.
